What we cover. Yupoo Tips covers Yupoo albums, buying agents, warehouse QC services, shipping lines and the practical paperwork around an order. We do not cover unrelated product categories, and we do not publish catalog pages as if they were reviews.
What we buy. Any product with a score on this site was ordered by this desk at the listed retail price through the standard public checkout. We do not accept free samples, loaner items or discounted review units. If a seller offers one unsolicited, we either decline it or buy the equivalent item ourselves and say so in the article.
How we choose what to test. Three sources: reader mail, repeated questions in our inbox, and gap analysis of the albums we have already tested. We prioritise items where the listed measurements are detailed enough to be checked, because a verifiable claim is a fairer test than a vague one.
What we will not do. We do not sell score placement. We do not write a review around a link. We do not remove a published score because a seller objects to it. We do not let an affiliate relationship change a measurement table.
Commercial separation. Affiliate links are added after a piece is written and scored. The editor who tests an item does not see commission rates while testing. Sponsorship, if we ever accept it, is labelled in the first paragraph of the page it appears on.
Sourcing of claims. Every number in a review comes from one of three places: our bench measurement, our timed order log, or a document we can point to. When a figure comes from a seller's listing rather than our own measurement, we label it as a listed figure.
Authorship. Each article names the editor who ordered and tested the item, and that name links to their author page on this site.
Sources and limits
An album image identifies what was advertised; warehouse QC and bench measurements identify the item inspected. We do not treat either image set as proof of every later batch.
